From small beginnings to established supplier

Ian Paterson, Peter Williams and Terry Bill started Southdown Office Supplies on a shoestring in 1992. Ian, Peter and Terry all had extensive experience within the stationery and office furniture trade and realised if they were to be successful they had to give a really high level of customer service coupled with value for money ranges to ensure that SOS became a supplier of choice. From small beginnings we have worked hard and are now one of the most established office products suppliers in West Sussex and have a large and very loyal customer base encompassing businesses of all sizes.

We are proud of how our business has developed over the years, we believe this is as a result of us being truly “customer focused” and looking after our clients in a friendly but professional manner. We always try to exceed expectations and appreciate that all our customers have a choice when it comes to their office supplies purchasing. We do not advertise regularly and the majority of our business comes from customer recommendations and from word of mouth.

Over the Years one of the product areas that we have seen grow hugely is the supply of office furniture. Our Print division is kept busy printing all types of business stationery and can produce anything from a simple business card to a full-colour product catalogue. Please ring us for a fast no obligation quotation for any printing that you may need.

In January 2009 we moved into our new building in Sidlesham near Chichester. These larger premises give us much improved facilities and house our stationery, furniture and print divisions all under one roof and give us much needed space for a showroom facility together with space for future growth.
